Run for America, a New York City based bipartisan candidate recruitment and public impact training organization, is excited to be hiring a new Director of Communications!
The Director of Communications is focused on communications and movement building. They will be asked to assist with communications strategy and manage execution including various aspects of fundraising and event planning across both Run for America and it’s nonprofit, Pathways for America. Communications channels will include, but are not limited to, emails, press releases, and social media, etc. In addition, they will be asked to assist with movement building activities which include growing RFA’s exposure and list.
This position is located is a full-time position based in New York City, and is best suited for someone with 0-3 years of work experience with a BA/BS. They are organized and interested in politics and political change. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word) or Google Drive (i.e. Sheets, Documents, Streak) is preferred.
